I met Joanna and Isaiah independently from each other while I was in college. I met Isaiah first because we were the same major! When I came back from grad school, I struck up a friendship with Joanna and heard that they were dating! I was so happy that the two of them found each other! Most of Joanna and Isaiah’s relationship was long distance, so Joanna and I would often chat about the difficulties of long distance relationships. After the wedding, Joanna kept jumping up and down and exclaiming, “we’re married!!” They were just so happy to finally be together. No more Starbucks Skype Dates. No more longing to be with the person you love that’s thousands of miles away. They were finally married and together!!!
Joanna became such a sweet friend to me in my graduate school days! She is so kind, and as many of her bridesmaids said in their speeches, when she decides to be your friend, it’s something you can’t get out of! She loves people genuinely and seeks the best for them! I am so honored to call her a friend!
One neat thing about their wedding is that both Joanna and Isaiah’s fathers were officiants in the ceremony. Joanna’s dad is a pastor, and Isaiah’s dad is a former missionary. It was so sweet to see the love on their faces as they celebrated the joining together of Joanna and Isaiah!
All day long Joanna didn’t stop smiling! She was SO excited to finally be married to Isaiah and it showed on her face all day long. I’ve never seen her laugh so much! I am so glad to have been able to document the wedding of these two sweet friends! Congrats Joanna and Isaiah!!!
I love them all so much!! Beautiful!! <3
One of the nicest weddings I’ve ever attended. So well organized, the reception went so smoothly. Such a beautiful bride and groom, the photos are lovely. Have a great marriage! Look forward to seeing you again soon.
