When I first met Lyndsey & Ryan, I knew immediately that I wanted to photograph their wedding! They are such laid-back, fun-loving people, and Lyndsey and I immediately hit it off! We chatted for a while and then found out later that we had a family connection. My dad used to coach Lyndsey’s sister on a year-round swim team back when I was a little girl, and her sister and mom both remembered seeing me around the pool deck with my parents. Lyndsey didn’t even know about this when she first contacted me about photographing her wedding. What a small world!
Lyndsey and Ryan chose to do their engagement photos at the Taylors Mill (blog post of those coming soon!). It was the perfect setting for them. The industrial feel of the mill complemented the classy vibes of their wedding day perfectly. Ryan and Lyndsey chose to tie the knot on the brand new rooftop garden at The Upper Room in Greenville, SC. Since I got to hang out with them during their engagement session, I was super pumped when their wedding day came along. Lyndsey is a teacher, and she is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet! She is warm and inviting, so bubbly, and her smile lights up the room! She had to be one of the most relaxed brides I’ve ever seen, and she was so beautiful!
We couldn’t have asked for better weather! The temperature was in the 70s, there was a light breeze, and it was an absolutely gorgeous day after the crazy stormy weather we had had just a few days earlier. It was such a joyous occasion! Lyndsey’s family is just the sweetest, and I’m pretty sure Lyndsey didn’t stop crying all day long because she was so happy to finally be married to the love of her life. As the officiant said during their ceremony, she just wants everyone to know that she loves Ryan and they are perfect for each other!! I’d have to agree that they are perfect for each other. They light up when they see each other, and the way they look at each other and love on each other is magical. Ryan and Lyndsey, thanks so much for letting me be a part of your lives for even a short period of time. It was truly an honor to meet you and celebrate with you, and I wish you a lifetime of happiness!
