Today on the blog I’ve got a super sweet Spartanburg anniversary session for you! Alexandra & Chase were married on 7-29-17. Check out their wedding post HERE! This is another couple close to my heart because their wedding was right after Matt and I got back from our honeymoon! We literally drove straight from our honeymoon to their wedding. And it was such a wonderful, Christ-honoring ceremony, and I was so thrilled to be a part of it!
Well, a few weeks ago I got to catch up with these two beautiful people again for their anniversary session at Milliken Arboretum in Spartanburg! The forecast was showing a slight chance of rain, but we really thought it was going to hold off. Well, about 15 minutes before we were supposed to start shooting, it started POURING BUCKETS. I was driving and seriously about to pull over because it was raining so hard! Thankfully when I arrived it was just sprinkling. So we waited out the rain in their car together and I got to catch up with them! It was so fun talking about the first year of marriage since I am in the exact same stage of life!
Chase and Alexandra are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet. They love each other so well, but more importantly, they love the Lord. It shines through even during a short conversation with them! And they are wise beyond their years. They know that to truly make a marriage work, you have to put the other person above you and forgive each other constantly. They were such an encouragement to me! I love Alexandra’s sweet smile and Chase’s gentle spirit. We chose Milliken Arboretum in Spartanburg as their session location, and it was absolutely perfect! Because it was slightly overcast, our colors came out bright and vibrant. The rain left steam coming off of the ponds, and it was so romantic! We even got a glimpse of the sunset right before we finished our session. It was just perfect!
