>Watch the Episode with Transcript<

Hello friends, welcome back to the Dream Biz Blog! Launching a business or a new digital offer can be overwhelming. To help you navigate this process, I’ve created a fun and insightful quiz to determine just what type of launch personality you have. Are you the Fake It Till You Make It launch host, the Low Key launch host, the Pinterest Perfect launch host, or the Royal Wedding launch host? Knowing your launch personality can unlock the secrets to a more successful and less stressful launch.

But before we get into the details of each type, I’d like to share a bit about my new brand and the exciting story behind its creation.

The Story Behind My Rebrand

This year has been a significant journey for me. As a recovering perfectionist, I’ve been working hard on my mental health. When I first started seeing my therapist, she had me map out a timeline of my life, encouraging me to express myself through art. Despite not considering myself an artist, I created a colorful and meaningful piece representing various aspects of my life.

After a period of significant burnout, I decided to embrace who I am and let that self-exploration guide the rebranding of my business. My brother, who is an incredible artist, transformed my timeline art into a beautiful logo for my new brand. The colors and elements of this logo signify different moments and aspects of my life, creating a funky and vibrant aesthetic that truly represents me.

What Type of Launch Host Are You?

Now, let’s dive into the main topic—finding out your launch personality. I’ve designed a quiz that will help you identify which of the four launch hosts you resemble the most. Let’s explore the four launch personalities and some tips to maximize their potential:

  1. The Fake It Till You Make It Host If you’re the Fake It Till You Make It host, you tend to throw things together at the last minute, hoping for the best. While your enthusiasm is admirable, this spontaneous approach can lead to chaos and overlooked details.
  • Challenges: Disorganization, missed emails, and feeling rushed.
  • Tips for Success: Map out every part of your launch, find an accountability buddy, and ensure you follow through on your entire launch plan.
  1. The Low Key Launch Host If you prefer a laid-back and personal approach, you might be the Low Key launch host. You have a solid plan but avoid promoting too aggressively to keep things casual.
  • Challenges: Missed opportunities for larger reach and not leveraging all channels.
  • Tips for Success: Flip the script and think of your launch as a celebration, challenge yourself to talk about your launch daily for 30 days, and remember to ask for the sale
  1. The Pinterest Perfect Launch Host The Pinterest Perfect launch host takes great pride in ensuring everything is polished and visually stunning. However, this meticulous attention to detail can be time-consuming and exhausting.
  • Challenges: Burnout and lack of energy to focus on other business areas.
  • Tips for Success: Focus on money-making details, outsource parts of your launch, and free up your time to launch more frequently.
  1. The Royal Wedding Launch Host For you, a launch is nothing short of a grand event. While you achieve impressive results, the energy required can be draining, making this approach unsustainable.
  • Challenges: Exhaustion and limited capacity to focus on other business aspects.
  • Tips for Success: Go ahead and outsource your entire plan to professionals who can match your level of meticulousness, ensuring you don’t burn out.

How to Maximize Your Launch Success

Identifying your type of launch personality is the first step toward creating a more effective and enjoyable launch process. Here are some additional general tips that can benefit all launch types:

  • Map Out Your Launch: Regardless of your launch personality, having a roadmap that includes all planned activities can help keep you organized and on track.
  • Delegate When Necessary: Don’t hesitate to outsource parts of your launch that feel overwhelming. This can help you focus on the bigger picture and reduce stress.
  • Celebrate Your Wins: Remember to celebrate your successes, no matter how small they may seem. Launching is a massive accomplishment and deserves recognition.
