Kevin and Sarah are one of those couples that I’ve had the great privilege of photographing their journey more than once. I did their engagement photos a few years ago when I was first starting out as a photographer, then I was able to do their wedding, which was the first wedding I was really proud of. And a few days ago, I was blessed enough to photograph them as they are starting a new chapter in their lives and will soon welcome their little bundle of joy into the world. This is the second maternity shoot I’ve ever done. I’m always thankful for those couples that are willing to let me try something new with them, because it’s through those experiences that I learn and grow. It’s been a while since I’ve worked with them, and I like to think I’ve grown a lot as a photographer since then. As I was posing them near the beginning of the shoot, Sarah leaned over to Kevin and said, “Wow, it’s a new Christi!” I’m glad she thinks so, because I think so too! I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
