HI, I'M
CHRISTI!
I love being a business owner. And really, forging my own path is all I’ve ever known. I was homeschooled, so I have lots of practice at being a self-starter. At 8 years old, I started my first business with my friend Sarah called “Sarah and Christi’s Stuff Shop” selling crocheted and hand-sewn items.
At 16, I started my photography business so I could take cool photos of my favorite bands. Eventually, when my friends started getting married, I fell in love with wedding photography and built a thriving photography business.
In 2019, I founded Christi Johnson Creative and transitioned to a remote business so I could work from home and have ultimate flexibility with my life. I realized that the techy side of business was something that excited me but overwhelmed most people. That’s when I began helping business owners make their businesses work for them!

I remember being a brand-new business owner that felt totally lost & overwhelmed. I’ll never forget the first person that said to me “Hey, why don’t we get together and I can show you how to do this?”
The kindness of that business owner changed my life. I went from wanting to give up to feeling like I could do this. I wouldn’t be where I am without the help of other business owners. Now I have a full team ready to help you in the same way!

HOW I FOUND MY
ZONE OF GENIUS
1993
As a toddler I was loud, brimming with self-assurance, and a whole lot of determination
2008
Bought my first DSLR camera so I could take better pictures at Relient K & Switchfoot concerts. This passion evolved into a thriving solo-preneurial venture!
2012
Started swim coaching and teaching swim lessons. This is when I realized my ability and passion for teaching, guiding, and encouraging. Little did I know, these early experiences would lay the foundation for my future success as a business coach.
2013
With my Bachelor of Music I started my own Piano Studio, and went on to graduate with a Masters Degree in Piano Performance.
2016
I took a lifechanging roadtrip and found myself repeatedly mulling over the idea of being a businesswoman. The freedom to shape my own path and the potential to offer something unique played on my mind. Nothing has been the same since. I started my first podcast & created the foundation for the dream biz that I have now!
2024
I’ve grown my team & expanded my offers. I've found new ways to thrive and teach clients how to avoid mistakes and begin with success! Let's do this, together!

DAVID
Our web developer and tech guru. David has done wedding videography, website development, and creative writing. He’s a creative thinker, and I’m thrilled he joined my team. Fun fact: I’m married to David's brother, Matt.
hannah
Our Chief Happiness Officer and my Executive Assistant. Hannah is responsible for Client Care and Team Care, making sure everyone is happy. She also helps me stay organized and productive. She owns a jewelry business and homeschools her 4 kids. Hannah is also one of my husband's siblings!
JAY
Our brand strategist and graphic designer. Jay pursued formal education in graphic design but quit college life because he realized he didn’t need a degree to succeed. He has been a freelance graphic designer his entire adult life. His passion is art, and creative thinking, and spending time with his 10-year-old son. Jay is my brother and I have him to thank for my eclectic tastes in music!
LYDIA
Our administrative assistant. Lydia is a makeup artist and mom to a 2-year-old son. She keeps our operations running smoothly. With her eye for creativity, she makes sure every email we send or social media post we create is buttoned up and looks perfect!
AMANDA
Our marketing strategist and copywriter. Amanda is a cat mom and published author. Not only does she manage all of the Team CJC marketing, but she also helps us with client marketing as needed. So, if marketing is one of the things you need help with, we've got you covered here at Team CJC. 😉
