CHRISTI!
I love being a business owner.At 8 years old, I started my first business with my friend Sarah called “Sarah and Christi’s Stuff Shop” selling crocheted and hand-sewn items.
At 16, I started my photography business so I could take cool photos of my favorite bands. Eventually, when my friends started getting married, I fell in love with wedding photography and built a thriving photography business.
In 2019, I founded Christi Johnson Creative and transitioned to a remote business so I could work from home and have ultimate flexibility with my life. That’s when I began helping business owners make their businesses work for them!
After my ADHD diagnosis and a mental health crisis in 2024, I made it my mission to help business owners thrive without burning out.
MY STORY
1993
Born in South Carolina, I'm proud to be a 90s kid. As a toddler I was loud, brimming with self-assurance, and a whole lot of determination. I was always the bossy kid or the "mom" when playing house.
2008
In high school, I bought my first DSLR camera so I could take better pictures at Relient K & Switchfoot concerts. This passion evolved into a wedding and portrait photography business that was my bread & butter for 10 years! I still do photography sometimes through Stephanie and Christi Photography with my sister-in-law!
2011
During college and graduate school, I became a swim coach and taught swim lessons. This is when I realized my ability and passion for teaching, guiding, and encouraging. Little did I know, these early experiences would lay the foundation for my future success as a business coach.
2014
With my Bachelor of Music I started my own Piano Studio of 23 students, and went on to graduate with a Masters Degree in Piano Performance.
2019
In 2019, I moved to California and started serving other business owners as a private photo editor and a business educator and quickly fell in love with helping business owners thrive. I started my first podcast & created the foundation for the dream biz that I have now!
2022
In 2022, I shifted into Online Business Management. I was helping people build their CRMs, their email sales funnels, and manage their teams. By the end of 2023, I had grown to a small team full of my family members. Not long after that, I experienced a stress-induced mental health crisis and had to let go of my team and shut down my business for six months. I really thought my days of business ownership were over.
2024
In the aftermath of my mental health crisis and an ADHD diagnosis, I started leaning into creative play and allowed myself to dream about what I actually wanted rather than what I thought I should do. I launched The Dream Biz Mastermind, which later became The Dream Biz Playground, my signature offer!
2026
I'm doing what I love and am passionate about helping other creative and neurodivergent business owners thrive without burning out. My dream is an entire generation of business owners being fully supported, resourced, & able to run their business at the pace of their energy levels!

FUN FACTS
I can type 130 words per minute. With this skill, if I ever wanted to hate myself, I could type a 50,000 word novel every 6 hours.
I have 25 nieces & nephews and a great niece. That's an average of 2 birthdays per month, a fact that isn't too far from the truth.
My favorite winter activity is snowboarding, a hobby I learned in my late 20s while living within driving distance of Lake Tahoe.
