I am so excited about all of the family sessions that I’ve been doing lately! This one is especially exciting because these kiddos are my nieces and nephews!! When I married Matt, I gained EIGHTEEN nieces and nephews (plus one on the way!), and it’s made my heart so happy! Matt has 7 siblings, and 4 of his sisters are married and all have the most adorable families! We were all together this past week and took some family photos in a field across from Matt’s parents’ house in Dacusville! The light was perfect and the smilies were happening all day long! Dacusville is a town that is near and dear to my heart! I love shooting weddings there at the gorgeous B&B, Thistlewood Down! Some of my favorite weddings have been there including Josh & Bethany and Jon & Eve! But I’ve also spent tons of time there since it’s where Matt’s family lives! Dacusville is a little town near Travelers Rest full of fields and forests and awesome mountain views if you know where to stop!

I love the red and gray that Heather chose for her family! They all look so festive and fun! The hats were especially a big hit. I always try to do individual photos of the kids whenever I do family sessions. I like to give the kids an opportunity to be themselves! We had plenty of laughs, smiles, and funny faces. Each of the kiddos has a unique personality, and they are all SO SWEET. I just love having them as a part of my family.
