Outsourcing your editing to a private photo editor is a GREAT way to get some much-needed time back to invest into your business. I know that it is a TOUGH decision to make because it is not cheap. But I promise you that the money you spend can be worth it if you use the time you get back to increase your profitability in your business. Not sure how to do that? Here are some ideas!

Ways to Increase Your Profitability with Outsourcing

Book More Clients

This is definitely one of the biggest ways to easily make back the money you invest in outsourcing and THEN some! Let’s say you average 10 weddings at $3000/wedding per year. You decide you want to outsource and book just THREE more weddings with the time you get back. So you spend $300/wedding on outsourcing. You’ll spend $3900 outsourcing those 13 weddings, but you’ll GAIN $9000 from those 3 weddings. $9000 – $3900 = $5000 extra income.

Take an Educational Course

Learning more about your craft is SO important! If you learn more and gain more experience, then you can think about raising your prices. Taking an educational course is an easy way to increase your profitability.

Go to a Conference or Workshop

This goes hand-in-hand with taking an educational course. Conferences and workshops are great because you usually get hands-on experience from the workshop. You also learn not just from the leaders but from the attendees! I’ve learned SO much from people that I’ve met at conferences and workshops and all of that adds to my knowledge and worth as a business-owner.

Start your own educational course

Having educational resources for sale on your website is a GREAT way to generate passive income. By outsourcing your editing, you can free up time to work on a simple pdf download or start a full-fledged course. You can charge a fee to download the materials. Once you’ve done the initial work, you’ll be making passive income.

Start a Coaching or Mentorship Business

Not ready to create an educational course but still want to teach others? Coaching or mentoring is a great way to generate an extra source of income. You can sit down one time to create the materials and then teach it to several clients. You should only have to make minor tweaks after the initial work, so each time you book a new client you’ll be making more per session.

Blog

Consistent blogging is profitable for two reasons: SEO and creating community with your audience. I got more inquiries than ever once I started blogging consistently because my articles would show up in google searches. Write articles that your target audience may be searching! It also helps to create community among your audience because people will look forward to seeing posts from you. I’ve even found that personal posts get the MOST traffic and responses from my audience. That’s because people love making real life connections!

Fine-Tune your Client Experience

Do your clients LOVE working with you and have a wonderful experience every time they’re in front of your camera? If not, you can use the time you get back from outsourcing to invest in crafting a unique and engaging client experience. The way your clients FEEL after working with you can be the number one way to increase your profitability. If they loved working with you, they’ll rave about you!!! Free marketing right there. Let your clients bring you more clients by giving them an amazing experience!
