Colin and Chrissy are engaged! I had the best time with these two at Campbell’s Covered Bridge on Saturday. Our original plan was to shoot at Bald Rock, but because of some unforeseen circumstances we ended up doing the shoot in Landrum. It worked out great! Chrissy wanted fall colors in her engagement photos, and these trees at Campbell’s Covered Bridge did not disappoint! We shot until the light ran out and got as much color in these photos as possible!
Colin and Chrissy have been together since high school! Chrissy lives in the area, and Colin lives in Florence, so for the last 5 years they’ve been in a long distance relationship. Colin proposed to Chrissy after sunrise at Max Patch Mountain, one of my favorite spots! Chrissy was totally surprised but, of course, she said yes. They love the outdoors, Carolina Football, and being together. On June 9, they’ll tie the knot, and they will finally be able to be together without having to go their separate ways at the end of the day!
These two were so cute and they couldn’t stop smiling. They have the best laughs ever, and I love capturing joy in my photographs! I have to thank them for making me feel like my jokes were actually funny! Also, I’m in love with the outfits they choose. Isn’t Chrissy’s dress so fun?! And what’s fall without plaid and sweaters?
Congrats Chrissy and Colin! Thanks for letting me share a small part in your story! Enjoy these photos at Campbell’s Covered Bridge
