I’ve been shooting a lot lately at the SC Botanical Garden and the Walker Golf Course Dock down in Clemson, and I am loving it! This most recent engagement session is no different! Wesley & Sarah are featured today, and I could not be happier for them! This is another couple that I met in college, this time in my choir days! They were both in the same choir as me, and we got to go on two different tours! One of the lowcountry, and one in Chicago! Wesley is a ridiculously talented pianist, and Sarah has the most beautiful voice! Not only that, they are both outrageously funny! I remember dying of laughter on choir tour whenever Sarah was the narrator of our Mafia games. When Wesley & Sarah finally got together after they graduated, everyone was nothing but thrilled for them!
We chose the SC Botanical Garden and the Walker Golf Course Dock in Clemson because we knew the fall scenery there would be beautiful, and the dock would give us some time for more romantic portraits under the glow of twilight. What we didn’t know was that it would be so COLD! Our shoot got pushed back a week because of wet and chilly weather, but this shoot was still pretty cold! They are champs for going out on the dock and braving the cold & wind without complaining one bit! I am obsessed with Sarah’s blue floral print dress that went so well with Wesley’s deep red pants! It was autumn bliss.
I had the best time photographing Wesley & Sarah. They are just so fun and easygoing! There was almost nonstop laughter, they are SO cute together, and their “almost kiss” shots were absolute perfection. I am beyond excited for the two of them, and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in April! For now, enjoy their engagement session at the SC Botanical Garden and Walker Golf Course Dock!
