Virginia is one of my dearest friends!! We attended the same high school and kept our friendship up over the years. I would often come over to her house when she and her sister were on summer break from college. I soon began attending college with her twin sister, Eleanor, and she and I became best friends! Since Eleanor was a townie like me, I came over to her house often, even during the school year! When Virginia would come back on the weekends or breaks, it was such a treat! She was always teaching me a new card game (and probably beating me). This year she got married and I was privileged to take her bridal portraits!! We decided to take her portraits in the Taylors Mill, one of my favorite places to shoot!
The Taylors Mill is an old mill that has been revitalized into a thriving arts community!! It is now home to a many artist studios, a coffee shop, a brewery, a wedding venue, and even a gym! And it’s still growing! The owners are gracious enough to allow photography in one of the large sections of the mill that isn’t currently occupied. Virginia grew up just minutes from the mill, so it made perfect sense for us to do her bridal portraits at the Taylors Mill!
Virginia is so much fun to be around. She’s laid back and kind, and every time I see her we just pick back up where we left off! She met the sweetest man last year, and in March 2017, they became husband and wife! Logan is a gem as well. He’s humble, kind, and cares deeply for Virginia. It has made my heart so happy to see Logan love her and cherish her and to see Virginia so happy! Enjoy these photos from her bridal session!
