I am SO excited to share this wedding with you today!! Victoria & Zachary were married on December 17 at Larkin’s On The River, and I couldn’t be happier for them!! Victoria & Zachary are such a fun and easygoing couple! It rained on the day of their engagement photos, but they didn’t let that stop them from having a good time! (view that session HERE) Their wedding day was no different, minus the downpour!! We did get a few raindrops at the end of our portrait time, but that was it, and we still had a blast!
I am obsessed with all of the fun, cute details of this wedding. The teal & red made this cold day so vibrant, and look out for the pins the groomsmen are wearing, and the Poké Ball ring box! Zachary proposed to Victoria super close to their venue on the stone steps near the TD stage. When he got down on one knee, he showed her a Poké Ball with the ring inside and said, “I choose you.” 🙂 Since they got engaged there, it made our portrait time that much more fun and sentimental because we were shooting in the same area!!
Their ceremony was so sweet and full of love. At the end of the ceremony, they did a Celtic tradition called handfasting, where their hands are tied together to symbolize their unity. Victoria handmade the cord that was used for this sweet moment!! Larkin’s On The River couldn’t have been the more perfect spot for these two lovebirds to tie the knot (which they did literally in their ceremony!). They catered the food as well, which was DELICIOUS, and the florals were done by the always wonderful and whimsical, modfete. Victoria’s bouquet fit her so well!
Finally, you do NOT want to miss their first look. It was one of the sweetest I have ever seen, and Zachary’s reaction to seeing his bride for the first time was PRICELESS. Congrats to Victoria & Zachary!!
A huge shoutout to my second shooter, Eleanor Black for helping me document this day!

Victoria had so many sentimental details that she incorporated! Here you can see her sixpence, which, yes, she actually did put in her shoe!
I just love how unique their rings are!!
Zach proposed with this poke ball, and Victoria handmade this cord that they used during their ceremony!
Notice the Poké Ball pin 🙂
This is a super sentimental shot! The necklace that Victoria wore was her grandfather’s gift to her grandmother on their wedding day, and Zachary’s tie pin was her grandmother’s gift to her grandfather! I thought this was such an elegant and special touch!
Notice how they each have a different pin!! I am obsessed with this.
The bridesman had a fun detail as well with his Captain America tie clip!
Modfete did a fabulous job on the florals, as always!
After the ceremony, we went out to take these “just married” shots right where Zachary proposed!!
I am still kicking myself that I didn’t get a chance to try the cake, because it was made by Buttercream Bakehouse. They are my favorite and I KNOW it had to be good! Victoria said they helped her create exactly what she wanted with the white and chocolate!
I have to admit I got a few tears in my eyes looking at these photos Victoria. But they were happy tears for you and Zach! Wishing you both much happiness.
