It’s fall vibes over here, and with fall comes a season of reflection and gratitude. So I thought it was appropriate to have a little fireside coffee chat with you.
This time last year I honestly was about to throw in the towel on my business. My finances were abysmal and my confidence was at an all time low.
I truly believed my business was a joke and it wasn’t worth all the time and money and effort I was putting into it.
I. Was. Done.
I started looking for a job and was about to accept an offer working at a coffee shop for $11/hour instead. It would have been more than I was making at that point.
When I got that offer though, I realized I’d be signing my life away to working 35 hours per week with no flexibility and no benefits.
I did the math and realized I only needed to book 3 OBM clients to make the same amount of money for significantly less work.
So I decided at the beginning of 2023 that I was going to go all in on my business and give it one more honest try.
So where am I now?
I am celebrating 3 straight months of consistent $5k+ revenue. I’ve grown my team, and my confidence is higher than it’s ever been. I’m connecting with new ideal clients every single day and doing work I’m proud of and passionate about.
Whats the difference between this year and last year?
I hired a business coach.
Yep. It’s as simple as that. When I hired her, I was making $1800/month. Exactly 3 months to the day after I signed on with her, I completed my first EVER $5k month at $5800 revenue for that month.
