I am in love with this engagement session from Hooker Falls at Dupont State Forest! I was able to hang out with Cambrye & Taylor last weekend and take some photos of the two of them being in love. My favorite! Cambrye & Taylor are getting married this coming May, and I can’t wait to document their wedding! When Cambrye suggested a waterfall session, I was so excited! We ended up deciding on Hooker Falls, and it was perfect! In case you missed it, last week I shared another waterfall session from Dupont State Forest on the blog! Check it out HERE! The weather ended up being overcast, which was perfect, because we had to do a morning session because of their work schedules. Overcast days always make for vibrant colors and even light!!
Hooker Falls was a gorgeous backdrop for the two of them to have their engagement session. We started over by the riverbed to practice our posing and for me to teach them posing basics! With the Katelyn James Posing Evolution, directing my couples and teaching them to pose is a breeze! We did a basic run through and then headed over to the falls. After that, we went over to some of the wooded areas to finish up our session! Dupont State Forest has so much diversity and gorgeous scenery. I couldn’t be more pleased with how this session turned out!
Cambrye & Taylor were a joy to photograph. I loved getting to know them better, hearing about their love story, and capturing their sweet faces! They were naturals in front of the camera! They have been together for 7 and a half years!! As someone who only dated for 7 months before getting married, I love hearing about couples that have been together for so long! Taylor proposed while they were visiting New York together, and it was a total surprise to Cambrye!
