The Secret to Consistent Goal Crushing

the secret to consistent goal setting

Goal setting and implementation can be hard. It is easy to start at 100% and quickly lose motivation. This blog post will give you a few secrets for success to consistent goal crushing.

Why is it so Easy to Give up on Goals?

Self-doubt and imposter syndrome often hold us back from reaching our full potential. It is easier to have the end goal in sight but harder to actually follow through.

Without proper steps in place, you can feel guilty when your goals are not being accomplished.

Steps to Consistently Crush Your Goals

  1. Make a specific plan for accomplishing your goals and determine what success will look like
  2. Have a regular system in place to monitor your progress
  3. Find a community that will support you

Make a plan to accomplish your goals and determine what success will look like

First, having a deadline set is very beneficial to help hold you accountable through the process of acheiving a goal.

One idea is to set aside time quarterly to refreshing your goals to assess what new goals you want to make and which goals need to be tweaked.

Monitor Progress With Goal Check-ins

Secondly, goal check-ins will give you structure and freedom to shift your goal, determine when your goal has been accomplished, or let your goal go. You can use these questions as you reflect:

  • What worked well?
  • What am I proud of?
  • Is there anything that’s brought me joy?
  • What did not go well?
  • Which goals have I completed?
  • Which goals no longer work?
  • Are there any goals that need to be tweaked?
  • What do I need to let go of?
  • What personal growth did I see in my life?
  • How can I be grateful in my business?

These goal assessments provide you the opportunity to refresh and focus on the wins while also acknowledging areas of weaknesses in your business.

Find a Supportive Community

Finally, having a community where you can share your wins and also the frustrations you are feeling in your business is crucial. Connecting regularly with others will provide accountability as you work towards accomplishing your goals.

A lack of community makes it much easier to fall out of rhythm and lose motivation to accomplish your goals.

Accountability is a huge way that helps us with consistent goal crushing. Community provides a way for you to be yourself, invite others in on this business journey, and help others along the way too.

Ultimately, a community is where you thrive.

Where Can You Find Community?

  • The Rising Tide Society
  • Find local affinity groups on Facebook or Meetup
  • Get a group together of people in your area or online
